Sørensen has been the festival director of Lund Fantastic Film festival from 2018 to 2020. She holds a BA in Film History and Theory together with a MA in Film and Media Production, from Lund's University. Sørensen has worked with a great variety of film festivals in the south of Sweden and is currently the project manager and pitch producer of M:brane Pitch Forum in Malmö, Sweden.
