Amos Noy
Poet and cultural researcher. Research fellow at the Center for Folklore Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
Poet and cultural researcher. Research fellow at the Center for Folklore Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, he holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, a master’s in computer science, and a PhD in folklore and folk culture from the Hebrew University. His doctoral dissertation, supervised by Prof. Galit Hazan Rokem, was published as a book, Expert or Witnesses: Jewish Intelligentsia from Jerusalem and the Levant in the Beginning of the 20th Century (Resling Publishing, 2017). Noy has also published three poetry collections — his first won the Minister of Culture Award, and his second received the Haim Gouri Prize for Hebrew Poetry in 2022. Most recently, he released a poetry collection written with poets Roni Eldad and Ariel Zinder.
