Summary:

A piercing social drama with sci-fi elements about class inequality in Morocco and the authoritative elements of religion. The film’s protagonist, a woman from a lower-class background, has married into a wealthy family. She is pregnant on the eve of a bizarre and even poetic apocalyptic event that takes place in the country, and which she must navigate, both mentally and physically. She sets out on a journey from the abandoned mansion of her husband’s distinguished family to a city of refuge, along the way raising questions of faith and her perception of reality begins to shake.
