Relic

Summary:

A psychological horror drama that premiered at Sundance 2020 and has since conquered festivals, critics and audiences around the world. A mother and daughter in a shaky relationship are forced to stay in the rural family home after the grandmother disappears with no explanation. When the grandmother returns unexpectedly in the middle of the night, her behavior becomes stranger by the hour, and the old family home in which the three women stay, becomes more and more disturbing and threatening. Through the stories and perspectives of the three female generations, the film explores the meaning of family, legacy and memory, equal parts moving and scary, all done exquisitely well.
