Isaac Ezban

Film maker

Mexican filmmaker, co-founder of Red Elephant Films and Autocinema Coyote. His first feature THE INCIDENT (2014) premiered at Cannes and 50 more festivals. His second feature THE SIMILARS (2015) won Best Latinamerican Film at Sitges, making Isaac the first Mexican with 2 films 2 years in a row selected in the 2 most important genre festivals in the world (Fantastic Fest & Sitges). On 2016, he was hired by Bron Studios to direct PARALLEL (his first English spoken film, released this year). Currently working in various projects, including the awaited adaptation of Dan Simmons´ classic horror novel SUMMER OF NIGHT for Sony Pictures. In 2018 Ezban was chosen for the Utopia Spotlight section on rising stars in genre cinema creativity.
