For twenty years Manheim has been the head of Hebrew literature department of the "Kinneret-Zamora-Dvir" publishing house, where she has edited over a hundred titles in a variety of genres, including four winners of the "Sapir" award. In 2021, she won the Minister of Culture's award for excellence in editing for her work. Manheim writes columns, essays and reviews on popular culture in the main newspapers in Israel and hosts, together with Ayelet Trieste, a weekly radio program called "The Sisters Grimm". In 2020, her collection of essays, The Life Fantastic: Myth, History, Pop and Folklore in the Making of Western Culture, was published by Watkins. Two of the television series she edited - The Lesson and Red Sky - won local and international praise and awards.
