His debut feature film, “Tropicana,” premiered at the Karlovy Vary FF. His short films “Set Me as a Seal upon Thine Heart” and “Hounds” won awards and screened at numerous film festivals, including Sundance, Locarno, AFI, BFI Flare, Jerusalem, and Haifa. He created, wrote, and directed the TV series “The Heiress” (Keshet12). Tobi founded Arisa, the first LGBTQ+ party line to merge Arabic music with queer culture, a globally recognized project presented in museums, galleries and film festivals worldwide, attracted hundreds of millions of online views, and praised by Haaretz as “one of the most positive and optimistic changes in Israeli culture.”
