Omri Herzog

Literature Critic and Culture Researcher

Omri Herzog (b. 1973) is an Israeli literary critic and cultural researcher specializing in popular literature and culture, winner of the Bernstein Prize. Up to 2018 Herzog served as head of the department of culture, creativity and production at Sapir College, served as lecturer in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Bar-Ilan University, the Open University, the Bezalel arts academy, the Ono Academic Campus, Alma College and other academic institutions. Herzog has been a literary critic for the HaAretz newspaper since 2002.
