Shelagh Rowan-Legg is a writer, filmmaker, artistic programmer and genre film expert. Rowan-Legg is a programmer for FrightFest (UK), Shorts That Are Not Pants, and Wench Film Festival. Her short films have screened around the world. She is Executive Director of The Miskatonic Institute of Horror Studies and is a Contributing Editor for ScreenAnarchy. Rowan-Legg's book The Spanish Fantastic: Contemporary Filmmaking in Horror, Fantasy and Sci Fi was published in 2016.
