His play “Nephilim” (created with Yonatan Levi) premiered at The Israel Arts Festival in Jerusalem. “The Divine”, a graphic novel (created with illustrators Asaf and Tomer Hanuka) became a New York Times bestseller, was a Hugo Award Nominee and won the International Manga Award and. “The Lake” (“Ha'agam” in Hebrew) is a short film written and directed by Lavie in 2009, featured at dozens of film festivals, including Slamdance and Palm Springs, and chosen by film critic Brian Darr as the "best film no one has heard of" for 2009. Lavie authors and publishes stories and articles in various outlets and works as screenwriter, editor and translator.
