Rimer is a graduate of the acclaimed Alon arts & humanities-focused Highschool (in cinema and philosophy) and hold a BFA in Cinema studies from Tel-Aviv University.
Rimer publishing articles with the Tel-Aviv Cinematheque's Film Magazine and with the "Off-Screen" Digital Film Magazine, works as a film teacher and video editor, and has directed a number of short films, many of which presented at Utopia, such as Pest Control on Golomb Street.
