Producer, content writer and curator, DJ and activist. Former journalist and news-editor. Ofer is a member of the Utopia magazine editorial board and an artistic consultant for the film festival, who also held numerous production and artistic positions in Utopia through the years.
Ofer is head producer at the Kan 88 radio station, dedicated to rock & alternative music and part of Kan, the Israeli Public Broadcasting Company. Ofer’s news and media career spans the past 15 years, as a journalist and media professional, she established and headed the online editiorial of Liberal Magazine, was editor of news and current affairs daily shows at Kan News, including late-night news, financial programs, global affairs and more. Ofer was the spokesperson for the Israeli Women's Lobby, the spokesperson and parliamentary advisor to former MK Dov Khenin and vice-editor at the acclaimed news magazine show London@Kirschenbaum on Channel 10. Ofer is a graduate of the department of philosophy and the multidisciplinary program in the humanities at Tel Aviv University, a lover of cinema and speculative literature, a peace activist and a believer in humanity, and although she was not born there, she is today a true Jerusalemite at heart.
